Nokia 8 launch offers in India remain to be seen at this point. To recall, it was first announced last month at an event in London.
For starters, Nokia 8 is all about its top of the line high-end technical features, specifications and offerings. It gets its grunts by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. It also comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable by means of a micro-SD card. It comes with the dual-SIM variant that offers a hybrid slot.
Up front, Nokia 8 comes with 2560×1440 pixels stretched across a 5.3-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, resulting in 554 PPI pixel density. Design-wise, it is made up of a series 6000 aluminium and flaunts different finishes. The matte finish comes in tempered blue and steel while the glossy versions are all about copper and polished blue. The device is IP54 rated splash proof.
It runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs a 3,090mAh battery under the hood and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 by means of the on-board USB-C port. Interestingly, Nokia 8 is complemented by Carl Zeiss optics and equipped with dual 13-megapixel cameras. Up front, there’s a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K videos.
