For those who are waiting to purchase the new Android-powered Nokia 6, the wait now seems to have come to an end. Registrations for the smartphone are now open on Amazon India, and the device will be up for sale exclusively on the e-retail site on August 23.
HMD Global, the parent company for Nokia launched the Nokia 6 alongside the Nokia 5 and 3 in India in mid-June. The top-end Nokia 6 comes for a price Rs. 14,999 making it the most expensive of the lot. The mid-budget Nokia 3 already went on sale while the Nokia 5 is said to hit the shelves on August 15.
Nokia 6 launch offers
Amazon India has bundled some launch offers on the purchase of the smartphone. The e-retail site will give Rs. 1,000 cashback for Amazon Prime users when they purchase the handset by using Amazon Pay Balance. Consumers will get 80 percent off on Kindle eBooks with a maximum of Rs. 300 off and coupons worth Rs. 2500 off on MakeMyTrip (Rs. 1800 off on hotels, and Rs. 700 off on flights). The Nokia 6 buyers will also get Vodafone 45 GB data free, where each recharge of 1 GB or above 4G data will give 9 GB additional data for 5 recharges with a maximum validity of 5 months.

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 resolution) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The handset offers 32GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of imaging, it sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing the camera for selfies. The device packs a 3000mAh battery. The phone boasts a metal unibody design and fingerprint sensor in the front. It features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio enhancement.
