Nokia 3, the affordable smartphone from the new Nokia lineup will now be available in India with zero percent interest EMI schemes. HMD Global the parent company for Nokia has partnered with financial company Home Credit to provide interest-free loans to consumers who purchase the smartphone.

Under this interest-free financial schemes, the Nokia 3 smartphone will be available for purchase at zero percent interest loans with flexible EMI and down payment options. The EMIs for the smartphone are available for a duration of six to seven months. However, consumers will be required to pay a certain amount as down payment to avail the interest-free EMI option.

To recall, Nokia 3 was launched alongside Nokia 6 and 5 in India in mid-June. The budget-oriented smartphone from Nokia’s portfolio is priced in India at Rs. 9,499. The smallest amongst the three new Nokia branded Android smartphones, this device sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The phone is powered by a MediaTek 6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The handset offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage which is expandable (up to 128GB via microSD card). It packs a 2650mAh battery and supports NFC. The Nokia 3 carries 8-megapixel cameras both on the front and back. The smartphone is available in India in four colours options- Matte Black, Silver White, Tempered Blue and Copper White.
