While LG still prepares to announce their upcoming flagship the LG G6 on 26th February just before Mobile World Congress, we’ve had plenty of leaks that reveal plenty about the upcoming phone. We’ve seen the specs leaked, the design showed off through LG’s invite to the media and even the company’s own statements regarding the software and display. We’ve seen the phone in bits and pieces, but now, the phone’s entire front and back has leaked in two glorious photos.
9to5Google has managed to get hold of two photos that show the whole front and back of the LG G6. The back seems to be a metallic silver colour, with the usual dual camera setup that seems to have become a stable with LG. What we also get to see for the first time is the always on display. From the looks of it, it seem that the LG G6 will have a fairly conservative, but elegant design.
The G6 is expected to pack a Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM, and a 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. LG has said that in order to maximize the unique screen size and aspect ratio, the company will have small bezels, with display taking up to 90 percent of the front side. LG Said that it will be updating its custom Android UX to version 6.0 providing an advantage to the large 18:9 display. LG said that the UX 6.0 in the phone will enable users to run apps in two perfectly square windows allowing for better multitasking experience. Although it is already available in Android 7.0 Nougat, LG promises that the UX 6.0 will bring ‘unique’ experience while watching videos or browsing internet.
What we know so far about the LG G6 also includes that it will allegedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board expandable storage and a 3200mAh battery. The LG G6 is expected to be officially announced at LG’s pre-MWC conference on the 26th of February.
