OnePlus starts rolling out OxygenOS 4.7.4 for OnePlus 5T. It’s the second update to roll out in less than a month. The update brings about improvements in terms of camera, battery, general bug fixes and a bunch of optimization.
While the earlier update brought improvements in terms of EIS (electronic image stabilisation) for video recording, the new update is all about improving overall photo quality and optimise default camera UI.
Here’s the complete changelog of OxygenOS 4.7.4:
Apparently, the most recent OxygenOS update carries a total file size of 286MB, as per the screenshots shared by Android Police.
The update doesn’t include any monthly security patch though, and it’s still baked on top of Android Nougat.
While OnePlus previously confirmed to push an update to improve OnePlus 5T dual camera low light performance, we believe the OxygenOS 4.7.4 version will likely enhance the imaging sensor performance.
OnePlus is gearing up to launch a Star Wars themed OnePlus 5T next week on December 14. The special edition phone embellished with Star Wars logo at the back and has a ‘scarlet’ red side button.
The price for new OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition is expected to unveil at the launch event.
