The Chinese handset maker, OnePlus has started rolling OxygenOS 4.5.11 update for its premium flagship, the OnePlus 5. The latest update brings several bug fixes and improvements on the smartphone.
The company has shared the changelog in its official OnePlus forum. The update addresses a few issues that OnePlus 5 users reported in the last couple of months. One of the important fix pushed by OnePlus is the YouTube video lagging issue that made the video ‘desync’ with the audio. The update adds the option to customise the notification ringtone and improves launching speed of apps. Further, the update brings optimised adaptive brightness and also fixes display issue with some of the UI elements.
OnePlus in its forum mentioned that with the new OxygenOS update, it has fixed the 4G+ network issue that cropped up in some regions. Additionally, the OxygenOS 4.5.11 contains the September security patch and some other general bug fixes.
Users should keep in note that it is an incremental rollout, which means that the update will be pushed in batches, so it will take a few days to reach all OnePlus 5 (Review) devices. For those anxious OnePlus 5 owners, they can keep a check by simply tapping on ‘Settings’ and select ‘System updates’.
