Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to launch yet another nearly bezel-less smartphone in December. The company has started sending out media invites for an event that is scheduled to take place in London on December 5.

The ‘Save the date’ invite carries the tagline “Max Your View” indicating that the screen panel will offer more space to view content. The image also shows off the outline of two smartphones having minimal bezels on both sides. One can also see two OO at the left corner below that clearly suggest the phone will flaunt dual cameras. The smartphone might come with AI integration given that one O is designed as a ‘droid’. Reports speculate that the new Honor smartphone might be powered by Kirin 970 processor, the newly announced flagship SoC from Huawei that has built-in AI capabilities.

Other details regarding the upcoming Honor are scarce as of now, however, more aspects are expected to drip in from the leaking faucet ahead of its official launch.

The smartphone manufacturer just yesterday introduced the new Honor 7X, successor to last year’s Honor 6X. The smartphone features a tall 5.93-inch display (2160×1080 pixel resolution) with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device flaunts thin bezel and dual cameras at the back. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 chipset paired with Mali-T830 GPU for graphics. The phone runs Android Nougat OS with company’s proprietary Emotion UI 5.1 skin layered on top.

Honor announced the handset in three storage variants- 4GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB internal memory and 4GB RAM/128GB native storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The dual rear cameras are accompanied by a 16MP main sensor with LED and a 2MP secondary camera. Up front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the rear side of the device. The all-new Honor 7X is expected to arrive India by late December or early January next year.
