Leading telecom network operator Bharti Airtel has come up with a new FRC144 plan for its customers. The plan is limited to prepaid users which costs Rs 144 and comes with the validity of 28 days. As part of the FRC144 plan, Airtel prepaid customers will benefit from 2GB of 4G data to users registered on the network using a 4G handset. For all other users, the company is offering 1GB of data for 28 days with no FUP whatsoever.

Apart from 4G data, Airtel prepaid customers opting for this plan can also benefit from unlimited on-net (Airtel to Airtel) calls with a weekly limit of 1,000 minutes as well as a limit of 250 minutes per day. Once daily or weekly limits are crossed, users are charged 10 paise per minute for the rest of the period. The 4G data and unlimited calls aside, there are no other benefits available to users such as free, unlimited SMS.

In other news, Airtel recently announced 100% cashback on Rs 349 plan, similar to Reliance Jio Diwali cashback offer on Rs 399 plan. Airtel has made it clear that users paying for Rs 349 plan using Airtel Payments Bank will receive Rs 50 cashback on the first recharge followed by cashback of Rs 50 each on next 6 recharges. Meanwhile, new Reliance JioPhone rival could be in works at Airtel in association with Lava.

Ever since Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio disrupted the telecom industry with new affordable data and voice calling offers, other leading telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone are announcing new plans and offers to retain their existing subscribers base.
