HMD Global unveiled a range of new Nokia-branded Android phones at MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The latest lineup includes Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, new Nokia 6 and Nokia 1. HMD also revived the iconic Nokia 8000 series with their first classic Nokia 8110, which now comes with 4G and some other improvements.

Of all the new additions (except for Nokia 1 and new Nokia 8110), Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and new Nokia 6 join the Android One initiative, a standard set by Google for third-party smartphone maker to ship phones that offer pure, unmodified Android experience.

On top of that, all three handsets put under Android One run Android Oreo out of the box. During the announcement, Nokia also claimed to be “the first global partner to have a full suite of devices into the Android One programme by Google.”
