Motorola last week announced that it will hold an event called #hellomotoworld in New York City on July 25. While the company didn’t reveal what it’s going to showcase at the event it has now released a new teaser giving an indication of what could possibly be unveiled at the event.
Motorola has sent out press invite with the tagline ‘get ready to shatter your expectations’ along with broken smartphone screen that clearly suggest the unwrapping of Moto Z2 Force. A ‘follow-up’ to last year’s shatterproof Moto Z Force Droid Edition, the Moto Z2 Force is expected to boast an improved ShatterShield technology. The specifications of the device have recently surfaced on benchmark site AnTuTu.
As per the listing, the Moto Z2 Force will feature a QHD display with 1440×2560 resolution. The phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU. Further the listing reveals that the Moto Z2 Force will offer 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage and run Android 7.1 Nougat. As for the optics, the device is seen sporting a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
Rumours earlier have suggested that the Moto Z2 Force will feature a dual camera setup with a dual LED flash. The smartphone is said to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED Quad HD ShatterShield display and come with water-repellent nano coating.
Reports also speculate that Lenovo-owned brand might unveil the ‘mid-range’ Moto X4 on the same day. In addition, a slew of new Moto Mods that were launched in Ghana a few days ago is also expected to make an appearance at the New York Moto event. As mentioned earlier, the #hellomotoworld event is scheduled to take place in New York city on Tuesday, July 25 at 11:00PM EST (8:30PM IST).
