Lenovo owned Motorola has today launched a new smartphone in China, the Moto Z 2018 Kingsman VIP Special Edition. The device costs RMB 9,999 (Approximately Rs. 97,700). The smartphone is a limited edition variant of the smartphone has been launched in collaboration with the movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It comes with minor design changes and a few additional accessories.
The smartphone is just the Moto Z2 Force in terms of specifications which was launched in July earlier this year. Alongside the special edition, the company has also apparently launched the Moto Z 2018 which lacks the special golden and black design, the box and the accessories.
The device features a gold Motorola logo on the back along with a new design for the Moto Mod connectors which are now encased in a special box. It comes in a briefcase shaped box which contains a VIP card, 45th-anniversary notepad, TurboPower battery mod, wireless charging mod, USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, leather flip case, a pair of USB Type-C Hi-Fi headphones, and a warranty card.
As for the specifications, the Moto Z 2018 Kingsman VIP Special Edition sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED ShatterShield 2K display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. It comes with 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. All of this is backed by a 3,490mAh battery which supports Motorola’s Turbo Charger. As for the colour options, the special edition smartphone is only available in Black.
