Motorola’s new smartphone from the Moto Z lineup is rumoured to unveil next month. The Moto Z2 Play renders have been leaked on several occasions, with a GFXBench listing recently revealing the specifications of the alleged Moto Z2 Play.
Today an exclusive leak of the smartphone has surfaced on the Internet that shows the retail box design along with contents inside the box and specifications as well. The leaked live renders spotted by DroidHolic, reveals the Moto Z2 Play retail box in bright red colour with the Moto Z2 Play logo on the front along with a tag in Spanish ‘Compativel com Moto Snaps’ mentioned below. The tag indicates that Motorola will bring Moto Mods for the upcoming smartphone as well. The Lenovo branding could be seen on the side of the box.
Moving on to the contents inside the box, the device with a plastic display cover reveals the specifications that include a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 resolution) display, a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual AutoFocus Pixel and Laser Autofocus. The fingerprint sensor embedded on the front. The device will offer 4GB of RAM along with 64GB onboard storage and carry a 3000mAh battery.
The Moto Z2 Play appears to follow a similar design language like its original model, Moto Z Play however, there is no ‘textured finish’ on back panel of the new Moto device. The Moto Z2 Play has the same round camera module with Dual LED flash and the Moto Batwing logo below. There is a front facing flash as well. The pins for attaching Moto Mods are placed on the rear bottom of the device. The volume rockers and the power button are located on the right side.
Inside the box, the MotoZ2 Play is seen carrying a Turbo Charger along with USB to Micro USB cable, and headphones.
Separately the popular tipster Roland Quandt last week shared renders that revealed a few possible colour options of the Moto Z2 Play. According to the renders, the Moto Z2 Play will come in black, silver, or gold with the silver and gold variants featuring a white front panel. Quandt said that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 626 processor and there will be 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. Other details of the new Moto Z2 Play remains the same.
