Moto Z2 Force has been unveiled at the company’s #hellomotoworld event in New York. The successor to last year’s Moto Z Force, Moto Z2 Force has a shatterproof screen in addition to warranty in the event of cracking or shattering of display for four years. Available in Super Black and Fine Gold colours, Moto Z2 Force comes at the price of $799.99 in the U.S. without a contract, which translates at roughly Rs 51,540.
Those who are not looking to pay for it upfront can opt for $30 per month contract. The Moto Insta-Share Projector Mod can be availed for free alongside the purchases till September 9, 2017. Moto Z2 Force goes on sale in the U.S. starting August 10, 2017. It will also start shipping in other markets such as Middle East, Europe, Africa, Brazil, and Mexico in coming weeks.
Specs-wise, Moto Z2 Force sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen featuring 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 534 ppi pixel density. The device is powered by Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. It offers 64GB of expandable storage, out of which at least 54GB is expected to be available for users. The phone comes in single and dual SIM variants depending on the market and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

In terms of photography, Moto Z2 Force houses a dual rear camera with two 12-megapixel monochrome and RGB lenses. The camera supports dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Laser Autofocus, and 4K video recording. Up front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with dual-tone LED flash. The front also consists of a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in an oval-shaped home button.
Moto Z2 Force equips water repellent nano-coating, 2730mAh battery with Turbo Charging, and NFC for secure payments. Design-wise, it flaunts a metal unibody measuring 6.1mm slim and weighing 143g. It also comes with Moto Mods pins for swappable accessories. In addition to the standard set of connectivity options, the device offers 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2.
