Motorola confirmed its most-waited Moto X4 dual camera smartphone will be launched in India on October 3. Lenovo-owned smartphone maker started sending out invites to the event scheduled in New Delhi early next month. It’s been a few days since Motorola is teasing the arrival of its latest dual camera smartphone in the Indian market on its social media channels. Just a couple of days, Moto pushed a few teasers on social media, suggesting Moto X4 India launch could be imminent. Now that it’s been confirmed that Moto X4 launch date in India October 3, let’s see what the device is all about.
If you recall, Moto X4 first showed up at the recent IFA 2017 tradeshow in Berlin, Germany. As mentioned before, one of the biggest highlights of the device has to be its dual camera. It houses a 12MP+8MP dual rear camera and a 16MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. In the U.S. and European markets, it comes pre-installed with Amazon Alexa digital assistant. According to a popular tipster, Moto X4 Android One edition could be launched in India unlike the U.S. and European markets. So, if that’s true, it’s unlikely that Moto X4 will come running Amazon Alexa assistant out of the box.
Other specs include a 5.2-inch 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC, and Adreno 508 GPU for graphics. Globally, it comes in multiple RAM and storage combinations: 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It offers IP68 certification and packs a 3,000mAh battery under the hood.
