Motorola had launched its dual camera smartphone, the Moto X4, in two different versions – Moto X4 Android One edition and well, the standard edition. While the Android One edition recently received Android Oreo update, the other variant (that sells in India) had not. Moto X4 users in India might just get fortuitous, as the company has started rolling the Oreo update for the standard version of the Moto X4 as well.
A Twitter user with the name ‘QuickTech Mohit’ has posted a tweet along with the Oreo update screenshot on his Moto X4. The update with the build number OPW27.2 carries a file size of about 1.1GB. The update includes December Android Security patch along with stability improvements. The update also comes with the exciting Android Oreo features such as autofill, picture-in-picture mode, revived settings app and notification dots.
