Lenovo-owned Motorola today launched Moto X4 in India. The handset was initially supposed to arrive in October. Now available exclusively via Flipkart, Moto X4 comes at the price starts at Rs 20,999. The highlight of the smartphone has to be its dual camera setup that two 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors together.
In terms of specifications, the Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest mobile platform Snapdragon 630 clocked at 2.2GHz. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB using microSD card.
The Moto X4 ships with Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Design-wise, the handset flaunts metal and glass design with 3D contoured glass at the rear panel. It has a protruding camera module at the back and Moto batwing branding right below it. The phone is IP68 certified which means the phone can survive immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.
The Moto X4 packs a battery of 3000mAh and Motorola claims that the phone will offer up to 24 hours of usage between charges. The phone includes a 15-watt TurboPower charger inside the box which is claimed to provide up to six hours of juice within 15 minutes of charge.
As for optics, the main camera sensor on the rear panel feature dual-pixel autofocus, a f/2.0 lens, and 1.4-micron pixels. The 8-megapixel wide-angle camera meanwhile, offers a 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, the phone carries a 16-megapixel sensor and includes an “adaptive low-light mode” meant to capture better images in low light condition. Both the cameras have LED flash support.
Moto X4 will be available in two colour options: Black and Grey. Moto has also bundled a few launch offers that include exchange discounts, bank offers, etc.
