Motorola’s roadmap for 2017 has already revealed a number of smartphones the company is planning to launch this year. In the past several weeks, leaked renders have shown Moto’s new Z2 Force, the Moto E4 Plus, the most affordable Moto C line up and a new addition to the Moto G5 family, the Moto G5S. Like the Moto G5 series, the Moto G5S will also have a larger screen variant dubbed as the Moto G5S Plus.
Android Authority is now reporting that they have obtained images of the upcoming Moto G5s. The smartphone is shown in three different colours- grey, gold and blue. The leaked images were obtained by Android Authority from a ‘trusted source’ familiar with Lenovo’s plans. If we go by the images, the new Moto G5S smartphone appears to follow a similar design language to the Moto G5 that was launched late February this year at MWC 2017.
The only difference between the Moto G5S and the Moto G5 or the G5 Plus is its metal unibody, whereas the Moto G5 line bears aluminium back panel and plastic sides. At the front, the handset shows off a moto logo, sensors and the oval shaped Home button. The fingerprint is located at the front underneath the Home button. Moving to the black panel, the Moto G5S seems to have similar smooth round edges and a circular camera module as the Moto G5 series. However, there are thin antenna lines seen running on top and bottom of the device and the Moto logo at the back rather looks dented than the one in Moto G5 lineup.

As for the specifications, the leaked slide that surfaced recently reveal that the Moto G5S will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, while the bigger variant Moto G5S Plus will get a 5.5-inch 1080p screen. Other than this no other details regarding the price and availability have been revealed as of yet.
