Previously, a US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing revealed the alleged specifications of the Moto G5 smartphone. As per the listing, the Moto G5 is expected to come with 3,000mAh battery and fast charging support, while its other variant Moto G5 Plus is listed to pack a bigger 3,100mAh battery. The listing also indicated the smartphones to come with NFC support.
An alleged spec sheet of Moto G5 was also revealed by Technoblog a Brazilian tech site which listed a model name “Moto G5 XT1672” claiming it to be the Moto G5. The leak suggested the phone to come with 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, microSD support, and 2,800mAh battery. The Moto G5 is likely to feature 5.0-inch full HD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The Moto G5 Plus, on the other hand, is rumoured to get 5.5-inch full HD display and Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. However, when the model number researched later it was found to be listed as Moto G5 Play in FCC.
