Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch its new smartphone Moto G5 Plus in India on March 15. And the company has now announced via its Moto India twitter account that the new Moto G5 Plus will be available exclusively on the online e-retail website Flipkart.
Flipkart has also put on a teaser in its Twitter handle citing Moto G5 Plus exclusive availability on its e-commerce platform once it is launched. “.@Moto_IND A big warm welcome to #MotoG5PlusonFlipkart! The most awaited G is all set to be available exclusively on Flipkart on the 15th,” the tweet reads.

Reports suggest that the smartphone will hit shelves in the Indian smartphone market in the launch date itself.

To recall, the new Moto G5 Plus along with the Moto G5 was first introduced at the world’s biggest trade show, Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 last month on February 26. Although Motorola is bringing the ‘Plus’ variant of the new Moto-G series in the country, the company has not shared any word about the launch of Moto G5 yet.
The Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs on a octa-core 64 bit Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2GHz. The fingerprint scanner is located below the display. The Moto G5 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with Google Assistant.
The Moto G5 Plus comes in three storage and RAM variants that include – 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. As for the price, the new Moto G5 Plus was launched at $229 (around Rs. 15,300) for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage variant, and EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 19,700) for the 3GB of RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The company however, didn’t announce the price for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model at the launch.
