Motorola’s much anticipated smartphone Moto G5 Plus has already been spotted on the US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing. And now a new live image has surfaced revealing design and some of the specifications of the alleged Moto smartphone.
The leaked image is shared by Dan Cautella, a member of the Brazillian Moto G4 community on Google+. As per the leaked image, we can see that the device has a front fingerprint sensor on the home button. The plastic film also reveals a few specifications of the alleged Moto G5 Plus. As per the image, the phone will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. The alleged Moto G5 Plus is tipped to pack a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging capability. In terms of optics, the phone is said to sport a 12-megapixel “Rapid Focus Camera”. Other rumoured features of the alleged Moto G5 Plus include- FM Radio, and NFC. Dan Cautella on the Google+ post cited that the Brazil unit will come Digital TV (DTV) Tuner built in it. He also said that the alleged Moto G Plus SIM slot has been changed to a nanoSIM.
Previous rumours speculated the alleged Moto G5 Plus to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The phone is expected to run on a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor.
As Motorola is hosting a pre-MWC event later this month, the company is expected to unveil the Moto G5 alongside the Moto G5 Plus smartphone. The Moto G5 is suggested to sport a 5-inch full HD display and powered by Snapdragon 430 processor. Previous leak reports claimed that the Moto G5 smartphone will come in two variants-3GB RAM/4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. The phone will have a 2,800mAh battery and run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. The popular tipster Roland Quandt of Winfuture.DE, however, claimed that the phone will come in single variant- 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB RAM. He said that the phone will be available in two colour options- Grey and Gold.
As the world’s largest mobile industry gathering is just a few weeks away, we can only wait until Lenovo-owned company officially unveils these smartphones on February 26.
