While Motorola prepares to bring a number of smartphones this year, with the most affordable Moto C series officially announced already, new leak now hints at Moto’s next affordable smartphones- Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus.
The leak report posted by the popular tipster Roland Quandt (via German website Winfuture.de) reveal the specification details of the new Moto E lineup. As per the report, the Moto E4 Plus is expected to sport a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 resolution) display. The device is tipped to feature a 13-megapixel camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The Moto E4 Plus will be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737M processor paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which will be further expandable. Apparently, the most notable aspect of the handset will be its battery which is said to carry a massive 5000mAh capacity. The Moto E4 Plus is also said to run the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and support 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The device will rather be heavy due to its huge battery and will weigh at 198 grams. According to the report, the all new Moto E4 Plus will retail for around €190 (roughly Rs. 13,600) in Europe. The phone will come in two colour variants- Gray and Gold.

The smaller variant, Moto E4 meanwhile is expected to feature a 5-inch HD (720×1280 resolution) display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, and a 2800mAh battery. The device will be powered by the same MediaTek MT6737M processor like the Moto E4 Plus. It will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which will be further expandable via microSD card. The Moto E4 is said to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and support 4G LTE. The phone is expected to come at a cost of around €150 (roughly Rs. 10,700).
Along with the details of the Moto E lineup, the tipster also shared a couple of press renders of the Moto E4 Plus in his twitter account. The renders show off a device that appears to follow similar design language like the Moto G5 series. The front is seen sporting a capsule shaped home button with volume rockers and power button placed at the right side of the device. On the rear side, the device house a circular shaped camera module similar to the one seen in the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The camera has a dual LED flash will Moto logo aligned beneath it.
