Earlier this week Motorola sent out press invites for the launch of its affordable smartphone Moto C Plus in India. The company will be hosting the Moto C Plus launch event on June 19. The Lenovo-owned company has now confirmed that the handset will be exclusive to Flipkart.
“Yes, it’s a cool place to be at! The #MotoCPlus will come to you, exclusively on @Flipkart. Stay tuned,” Moto India posted in its official twitter account.
To refresh, the entry-level Moto C Plus along with Moto C was first unveiled in May in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The base variant, Moto C has already hit the shelves in Indian smartphone market at an affordable cost of Rs. 5,999. The smartphone is available for purchase via offline stores. The Moto C Plus meanwhile was initially introduced starting at €119 (roughly Rs. 8,500). Given the Plus variant carries similar entry-level specifications, we can expect the phone to be priced under sub-Rs. 10,000 range.
