The domestic smartphone brand Micromax has quietly launched three new smartphones under its ‘Bharat’ series for its consumers in India last week. The handsets Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 are listed on Micromax official website. The listing has revealed the complete specification sheet of the devices, however, the prices are yet to be announced.

Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 support 4G VoLTE and runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box. The smartphones also come with support for 22 Indian languages.

Talking about the Bharat 4 first, the device features a 5-inch HD TFT display with 720 x 1280 resolution. It is powered by a MT6737 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB native storage. As mentioned, the handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

As for the camera, the Bharat a 5-megapixel camera, both front and rear. The cameras on the device carry flash module to capture better shots in low light. It packs a 2500mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 170-180 hours of standby time, and 6-7 hours of talk time. The dual-SIM smartphone offers 4G VoLTE support, GPS, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, GSM/CDMA, and WAP under its connectivity option. It measures 144.5 x 73 x 9 mm and weighs 150 grams. The phone comes with gravity sensors onboard and has microUSB port, a 3.5mm jack for headphones.

The smaller smartphone, Bharat 3 meanwhile gets a 4.5-inch WVGA TFT display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It weighs around 130 grams and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is powered by a MT6737M processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage. The storage is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone has a 2MP rear camera and a 5MP camera up front for selfies and video calls. Just like Bharat 4 it comes with front and rear flash support.

As for the powerhouse, the Micromax Bharat 3 carries a 2000mAh battery which is said to offer 170-180 hours of standby time and 6-7 hours of talk time. The dual SIM smartphone support gravity sensors and include a GPS, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, GPS, GSM/CDMA GSM, WAP, USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack under its connectivity options.

Micromax Bharat 2 Plus is an upgrade to the Bharat 2 smartphone that was introduced in April this year. The successor to Bharat 2 features a 4-inch WVGA TFT display with a of 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The device is backed by a 1,600mAh battery, which is rated to offer up to 16 hours of talk time and 160 hours of stand by time. Micromax Bharat 2 Plus has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. It is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. The handset Bharat 2 features a bar design and measures around 125 x 63.4 x 10.8 mm. The dual SIM smartphone comes with GPS, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and WAP, microUSB port, FM Radio. Sensor onboard include- accelerometer.
