The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu might unveil a new smartphone in India soon as the company has started teasing the launch of a smartphone in its official Meizu India twitter handle.The company has posted a teaser image on Twitter along with a caption saying, “It’s time for you to become a Pro! Stay Tuned!”.
From what we can see from the image, it appears to be the Meizu Pro 7 that flaunts dual screen. The image shows a device with a small rectangular cutout on the left side. Notably, the Pro 7 features a secondary display which can be used as a viewfinder to click selfies from the rear camera, control music, check for notifications and much more. Additionally, the teaser emphasises on the word ‘Pro’ so it is safe to assume that the upcoming smartphone that will be unveiled in India could be the Meizu Pro 7.
To recall, the Pro 7 was introduced in China in July this year. The smartphone as we mentioned feature dual secondary display on the rear panel. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage on the phone is at 64GB or 128GB. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat based on company’s proprietary Flyme 6 skin. All of these is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

As far as optics are concerned, the Meizu Pro 7 sports dual camera setup at the back with each sensor counting 12-megapixels- one for monochrome and another for RGB. Up front, it gets a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The phone has a 1920×1280 pixel resolution stretched across a 5.2-inch display. The Pro 7 also comes installed with a ‘special chip’ from Sony that will enhance music experience.
Design-wise, the Pro 7 flaunts a sleek metallic body with thin bezels on both sides. The fingerprint sensor lays underneath the home button. The USB Type-C port is placed at the base and the power button, volume rockers sit on the left edge. As for the pricing, Meizu launched the dual-screen smartphone, Meizu Pro 7 for a price of $430 (around Rs. 27,900).
