Meizu M5 Note is one of the most popular budget smartphones announced in China late last year. Now, the specifications of a new device, allegedly Meizu M6 Note, have surfaced in a report. If the report is to believe, the Chinese smartphone maker could be gearing up to announce a new phone in coming weeks. Meizu is known for announcing not less than two ‘M Note’ devices every year, and 2017 seems no different.
As far as leaked specifications of Meizu M6 Note are concerned, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen featuring 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. It comes in multiple RAM and storage combinations: 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. Furthermore, powering the device is MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T880 GPU for graphics.
As per the report, Meizu M6 Note packs a 16-megapixel shooter on the rear in addition to a 4,000mAh battery under the hood, which should face no problem at delivering a full-day charge. The report did not reveal anything else with regards to its features or release timeline. Although the 4GB RAM variant of Meizu M6 Note is said to cost 1,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,180), pricing of the 3GB RAM variant is still a secret.
Meizu recently expanded its portfolio with Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus, the company’s first smartphone lineup offering a dual screen and dual camera setup. Meizu Pro 7 Plus features MediaTek Helio X30 SoC whereas Pro 7 has two variants: Helio P25 SoC with 64GB of storage and Helio X30 SoC with 128GB storage.
