LG has just launched their latest smartphone LG V30+ in India at the price of Rs 44,990. The handset goes on sale exclusively on Amazon India starting December 18, 2017. LG V30+ is the older counterpart of LG V30. Both the handsets were announced at IFA 2017 in August.
LG V30 and V30+ differ only in terms of the internal storage capacity. LG V30 has 64GB internal storage whereas LG V30+ packs 128GB storage. Other specs remain the same for both the handsets.
Speaking of specifications, LG V30+ sports a 6-inch screen with 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels. The screen further gets itself secured (to some extent) against scratches courtesy of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
LG V30+ gets its grunts from Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. The internals also happens to be the key selling points in the high-end flagship smartphone segment.
LG V30+ houses a dual rear camera (16MP + 13MP) along with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It can record up to 4K videos at 30 frames per second (fps). Up front, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It’s a dual-SIM phone with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The set of supported sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer. Meanwhile, the set of connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C and more.
Last but not least, LG V30+ houses a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It’s claimed to charge the handset up to 50% in less than 40 minutes.
