LG Q6 which is also known as LG G6 mini is reported to be unveiled on 11 July 2017. Recently several reports suggested that the company was working on a smaller version of the G6, possibly to be named LG Q6. The company has started rolling out the press invites in Poland for an event on 11 July, which will unveil the new Q6, as per the reports. The press invites tout “#LGBarbeQ” which gives a clue that the event is taking place for the Q6.

The LG Q6 is a mini variant of the current LG G6, which may also be cheaper than the G6. The Q6 is said to feature a 5.4-inch display, with the same 18:9 aspect ratio like the G6. Reports also suggest that this will have the same screen to body ratio like the G6. Unlike the G6, this smartphone will come with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and will sport a lesser 3GB of RAM.
A month ago, the company launched a higher storage variant of the G6 which they call the G6 Plus. The smartphone came with the same specifications as the G6 with a few upgrades like a larger 128GB of onboard storage and support for wireless charging. The G6 was announced in February 2017. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 and a pixel density of 562ppi. The smartphone has a dual-camera setup at the back with 13-megapixel each. Upfront the phone has a 5MP camera for taking selfies and video calling.
