LG today launched the LG Q6 with FullVision Display in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 14,990 for the 3GB RAM/64GB Internal Storage variant. The company has partnered with Amazon India to exclusively sell the device on their platform. LG has made available three colour options, the Astro Black, Ice Platinum and the Terra Gold. Moreover, for the initial launch period, the company is offering various exchange offers. With this exchange offer, the interested buyers will be able to get a discount up to Rs. 13,300 on the Q6. Interestingly the customers with SBI cards and Amazon Pay users will also be able to get additional cashback during the Amazon Great Indian Sale.
LG had launched the Q6 along with the Q6+ and the Q6a earlier in July, but for now, has only introduced the LG Q6 in India. It is the first smartphone after the LG G6 to sport LG’s FullVision display, it is also the first mid range smartphone to feature the FullVision display. It is also to be kept in mind that this is a toned down version of the LG G6, which is the company’s flagship offering this year. Interestingly, the variant introduced in India features a dual SIM card slot rather than the single SIM slot in the international variant.
As for the specifications, the phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a display resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. As for the camera, the phone comes with a single camera on the back rather than a dual camera setup like in the LG G6. The LG Q6 features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
As for the connectivity, the company offers a dual SIM offering in India, which supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and NFC. The phone also keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack which some companies now have started to remove. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
