The LG K10’s 2017 edition has officially been launched in India at an event held in New Delhi. LG has priced the K10 at Rs. 13,990 and will be available in a trio of colours; namely Titanium, Black and gold.
The K-series had originally been refreshed just before CES 2017, with all the phones in the series getting an upgrade. Of the K3, K4, K8 and K10, only the K10 is being released in India for now. The phone runs on an Octa-Core processpr clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is capped at 16GB which can be increased to 2TB using a microSD card. The LG K10 has a 5.3 inch IPS-LCD display with a resolution of 1280×720. The K10 sports what LG calls 2.5D Arc screen, essentially a screen that is slightly curved to suite the contours of the human face.
In terms of imaging, the LG K10 offers a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front shooter. The selfie camera also offers a 120-degree mode, something that we’re seeing become commonplace with a lot of cameras nowadays. The Lenovo K10 also features an SOS mode which can be activated by pressing the power button thrice. If engaged, the phone will automatically dial the 112 emergency number, alerting authorities to the emergency at hand.
The LG K10 weighs 142 grams and measures 148.7×75.3×7.9mm. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G,2G, WiFi (802.11 b,g,n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and NFC. The smartphone also supports 9 regional languages.
