Earlier this month LG globally started rolling out its flagship LG G6 smartphone after it was launched in Korea. The company confirming the roll out of its new flagship in other countries has now started taking pre-registrations for the G6 smartphone in India.
The users can go to the LG India website and register their interest for the smartphone by placing their name email id, contact number, and city on the LG registration page. Unlike pre-booking that requires paying a nominal amount to book a product, on pre-registration, you don’t have to pay any amount but simply show interest in the product.
To recap, the LG G6 smartphone was officially introduced at MWC 2017 in February. The highlight of the smartphone is its big 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display with a unique 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone features a custom UI dubbed LG UX 6.0 that is designed to leverage the special 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The LG G6 was launched in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The storage on the LG G6 is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). As for the camera, the new LG G6 smartphone sports a dual-camera setup at the rear end with two 13-megapixel sensors that uses 71-degree to 125-degree wide-angle lens and OIS 2.0. On the front, the G6 features a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree lens. The fingerprint sensor is located below the camera module at the back panel.
