With just about three weeks remaining for MWC, we cannot decide what are we more excited about – the LG G6, or the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is purported to be launched a little later. And it definitely doesn’t help when we get one leak after another. The latest, of course, is another image leak of the LG G6.

The latest image, shot in a car, and predictably covering any identifying details, confirms certain things that we have already heard about. This image, sent first to Business Insider, clearly shows a dual camera setup and a shiny rear panel.

Clearly, as dual camera setups are catching up since they became popular with the Huawei P9 and the iPhone 7 Plus, the LG G6 will also use a dual camera setup to create the background defocus or bokeh effect. The photo also clearly shows a fingerprint scanner just under the cameras.

In terms of design, the latest picture leak confirms that LG might launch at least one variant with a glossy back, much like the Jet Black colour scheme on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The LG G6 is supposed to be unveiled to the world in a press event in Barcelona, Spain, a day before the Mobile World Congress kicks off.  What we know so far is that the LG G6, the net flagship device from the manufacturer, is bound to pack in a 5.7-inch QHD+ screen with a rather strange 18:9 aspect ratio, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor as seen on the Google Pixel. It is also rumoured to share another feature with the Pixel, apart from the processor, and that’s Google Assistant. If this turns out to be true, it might be the first third-party phone to feature Google Assistant.
