The smartphone manufacturers are gearing up for the world’s biggest mobile trade show, MWC 2017 and rumours seems to huddle up around their products especially the ‘flagships’. It’s just yesterday that we saw a new leaked live image of the upcoming LG G6 smartphone. And now, another series of ‘live image’ have surfaced that showcasing the phone various angles.
The new set of image comes from UnderKG that reveals the design and build of the smartphone. The same source delivered a side view of the smartphone earlier. The shots of the alleged LG G6 exhibit a metal frame and a brushed metal design. The phone sports a gray variant with narrow bezels on the side. The purported new images depict the same dual-camera setup that we saw in the previous leaks. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the rear panel just under the camera which is claimed to work as a power button.
The volume buttons are placed on the left side and the SIM card tray is pitched on the ride side of the phone. The top side of the alleged LG G6 is features a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone along with two antenna bands. While the bottom side house a single speaker to the right side of the USB Type-C port.
Earlier reports have suggested the flagship LG G6 to come with a 5.7-inch (2880×1440 pixels) +QHD display. The phone is expected to pack a non-removable battery and Google Assistant. Reports also cited that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 instead of the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The LG G6 is said to come with IP68 water and dust resistance certification.
As the South Korean tech company will host its pre-MWC event on February 26, we can expect the official details of its upcoming flagship LG G6 to be unveiled at the event.
