LG has finally sent out invites for the LG G6 India launch event. The 2017 flagship from LG is set to launch on coming Monday, April 24.
The smartphone was first unveiled during MWC 2017. LG also started taking pre-registrations for the G6 smartphone in India earlier this week. The device started rolling out globally earlier this month only.
The users can go to the LG India website and register their interest for the smartphone by placing their name email id, contact number, and city on the LG registration page. Unlike pre-booking that requires paying a nominal amount to book a product, on pre-registration, you don’t have to pay any amount but simply show interest in the product.
The highlight of LG G6 is its big 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display with a unique 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone features a custom UI dubbed LG UX 6.0 that is designed to leverage the special 18:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The LG G6 was launched in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The storage on the LG G6 is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).
