Lenovo has officially announced the launch of new smartphone Zuk Edge next week. With the Vibe K6 Power which is launching tomorrow, Zuk CEO Chang Cheng has confirmed to unveil a new Zuk smartphone next week. The CEO has made the announcement and shared the official renders of the new Zuk Edge via Weibo post in China. The picture shared by the CEO shows that the phone will have slim bezels and redesigned body. The phone however, won’t have a bezel-less display.
Zuk Edge which appeared on the China’s certification website TENAA, was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark as well.
According to the leaks, the phone is powered by 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with a 5.5 inch(1080 resolution) LCD display packed with 4GB and 32/64 GB of internal storage variants.
The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and feature a 13megapixel rear camera which is capable of 4K video recording alongside an 8 megapixel front facing camera. Backed by a battery of 3000 mAh, the phone weighs 160 grams. It will come in two color variant-Black and White.
Another report from MyDrive says that the phone will highlight a 6GB RAM version as well.
The Zuk 2 which was launched as the Z2 Plus in India is considered to be the cheapest smartphone in the Indian market that feature the Snapdragon 820 processor. The Lenovo Z2 comes with a price tag of Rs.17,999 for the 32 GB storage variant and Rs.19,999 for the 64 GB version of the device.
