Lenovo on Thursday revealed its list of devices that will be receiving an update in the near future. Surprisingly the company has left out all of the Phab devices from the list. This indicates that neither of the Phab, Phab Plus, Phab 2, Phab 2 Pro and the Phab 2 Plus will be receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Interestingly, the world’s first Tango enabled smartphone, the Phab 2 Pro which was just launched last year will also not be receiving any update.

Lenovo has not been known for providing software updates which might now change after the introduction of the K8 Note in India with stock Android UI, which the company stated will be used in all of its upcoming devices. The ditching of the Vibe UI marks the start of a new era for the company.

The whole list of which smartphones will receive the update is listed on Lenovo’s official support website. As of now on the list in front of the Phab series the company has mentioned that currently, they have no planned upgrade. However, plans can change and the company might give out an upgrade to the users of the device but we do recommend that you don’t get your hopes up.
