Lenovo will launch its smartphone Lenovo P2 in India soon. With the K series line up launched in 2016, the Chinese tech company is all set to introduce the next smartphone from the P series in the new year.
Lenovo leaked a teaser on its official Twitter account quoting, “How often do you your way because of low phone battery. Travel fearlessly with the longest lasting battery #LenovoP2 #Powerhouse coming soon.”
Like the other P series smartphones, Lenovo P2’s unit selling price is its battery which packs a massive 5100mAh battery backup. In terms of its design, Lenovo P2 features a metal unibody with metal frames on the side.
Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display (1920×1080 resolution). The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz. It comes with RAM variants-3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The phone has an on-board storage of 32GB which is expandable up to 128GB.
The rear camera on the Lenovo P2 house a 13megapixel camera module with flash and the front features a 5megapixel camera. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and supports on-the-go charging like the Lenovo Vibe P1. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the front, NFC support. In its connectivity options, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and FM radio.
The smartphone from the P series was launched for a price of CNY 2,499 in China which is around Rs 24,500 and €249/€299 in Europe, the company has not shared any price detail of the smartphone in India.
