After bringing the K8 Note and K8 Plus, Lenovo today launched its third smartphones from its latest ‘K’ series, the Lenovo K8. Unlike its siblings, the K8 handset, was announced via the company’s official Twitter handle. The phone is priced at Rs. 10,499 and it will be available from offline stores across India starting September 26 i.e., today.
Talking about the specifications of the new Lenovo K8, the phone features a 5.2-inch IPS HD (720×1280 pixel resolution) display with 2.5D arc glass on top. The device is powered by an 16nm octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with Mali T880 MP2 for graphics. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage which is further expandable via microSD slot.
While for the optics, the Lenovo K8 sports single camera setup instead of dual rear cameras found on the K8 Note and K8 Plus. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with phase detection autofocus and LED flash module. Up front, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash for better capture of selfies in low light.

On the software front, it runs the similar stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS like the other K8 series smartphones. The Lenovo K8 comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the rear panel right below the primary camera. As for the powerhouse, it packs a big 4000mAH non-removable battery which is rated to deliver up to 1.5 days of usage. The single speaker on the phone is accompanied by Dolby Atmos to enhance sound experience. It has a dedicated Music Key located on the left side of the device. The dual-SIM Lenovo K8 supports 4G VoLTE and offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphoe jack under its connectivity suite. The phone comes in two colour options- Venom Black and Fine Gold.
