LeEco has announced the launch of a new variant of its popular Le2 Superphone. The 64GB variant ‘Superphone’ will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. While the 32GB variant comes for a price of Rs 11,999, the new variant is available online for a price Rs 13,999 in Rose Gold colour.
As LeEco was retailing the ‘Superphone’ offline earlier, the Chinese technology company has recently expanded its e-commerce partnerships which include Snapdeal as a part of its streamlining strategy.
The Le2 ‘Superphone’ features a 5.5-inch full HD display and a metal unibody design. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It come with 64GB of internal storage. In its imaging segment, the ‘Superphone’ house a 16megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture along with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. On the front, the Le2 has an 8megapixel camera module with f/2.2 aperture. It packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery. The Le2 runs on Android Marshmallow OS based on EUI skin atop of it.
The most notable feature of the device is its CDLA standard technology. The company claims Le2 to be the first Superphone to incorporate the world’s first digital audio transfer standard, patented by LeEco that enables the end-to-end loseless digital music transmission. As the device doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack support the USB type-C port is used for the headset.
The Le2 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Infrared port and USB type-C port. The sensor options include Proximity, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, and Fingerprint scanner.
