LeEco, the Chinese electronics company has officially launched a new version of the flagship LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone. Dubbed as the LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite Edition, the new smartphone is priced at $246 (roughly Rs. 16,500).
Although, the new LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite Edition is an upgrade version of the flagship Le Pro3, the hardware specification on the new phone have been trimmed down from that of the original model. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset instead of Snapdragon 821 SoC that is inserted on the Le Pro3.
The smartphone doesn’t come with NFC support as well. In terms of design, the new LePro 3 Elite Edition looks identical to its predecessor. As for the specification, the phone sports a 5-inch full HD (1080×1920 resolution) display with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The handset packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage which cannot be expanded. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel of the device, below rear camera.
On the software front, the Le Pro 3 Elite Edition runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s UI skin on top. It has a battery backup of 4,070mAh and comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. This is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports nano-SIM. Connectivity options include- USB Type-C, USB on-the-go (OTG), 3G and 4G. It has Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope in its sensor suite.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite Edition is already available for purchase at a price of 1699 Yuan on the Chinese e-retail site Jingdong, LeEco Mall and Lynx.
