LeEco and Coolpad are collaborating again to launch a new smartphone. After launching the first joint smartphone, the Cool1 Dual in August this year, the two companies are all set to launch yet another smartphone for its users. The new smartphone could simply be called just ‘Cool’.
The report of the new Cool smartphone was recently passed through China certification website TENAA.
GizmoChina being the first website to have spotted the new handset, it listed the following specifications. The new ‘Cool’ smartphone will come with a 5.5 inch full HD display. It will be powered by a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM options. The device will also include 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants.
Powered by a battery back-up of 4000 mAh, the new smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device will feature a 16 megapixel rear camera and packed with an 8 megapixel front camera. It will also support 4G LTE band connectivity.
The new Cool smartphone’s design looks similar like the LeEco Pro 3, though the back looks different. There’s a ‘Cool’ logo at the rear bottom of the smartphone with ‘LeEco Inside’ written just below it.
According to the Chinese certification website the new Cool smartphone will be available in white, silver, blue, black and gold colour.
Other details of the device not known, given it has already passed TENAA, the launch of the new Cool smartphone can be expected soon.
