Karbonn today made an addition to the Titanium smartphone series, the Titanium Jumbo. The USP of the device is its 4,000mAh battery that the company claims to provide a standby time of up to 400 hours and talk time of 14 hours on a single charge. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 7,490 however, it will sell at the MOP which is Rs. 6,490 and will come with a free back panel bundled with the device. It will be available in both online and offline markets starting today.
As for the specifications, It features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM along with 16 of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. For connectivity, the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo comes with 4G VoLTE, USB OTG, A-GPS and Wi-Fi.
As for the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel primary camera with an LED flash. On the front, we get to see an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The company is also boasting that the device will come with a pre-loaded video editor. The device will be available in two colour options – Black and Champagne.
Karbonn recently in partnership with Bharti Airtel also launched a new 4G smartphone, the A40 Indian which comes at an effective price of Rs. 1,399 and is aimed at taking on the Reliance JioPhone. The price of the A40 Indian is Rs. 2,899 initially and Airtel will remit Rs. 1,500 as cash back to the users.
