JioPhone has now popped up on Amazon for Rs 1500. Interestingly, this comes right after Jio partnered with a digital wallet company MobiKwik to sell their JioPhone online. It seems Jio now wants users to buy their popular feature phone without having to step out of their house and go to a Jio Store.
I know many people who couldn’t or perhaps didn’t buy the JioPhone because of the way it was being sold in the country. I can also recall numerous such incidences where I had nowhere else to go other than nearby Jio Stores and get some information on how to purchase the JioPhone. More often than not, it turned out offline Store representatives themselves had no idea on how to do that after clearing the first batch.
Now that the supply is probably higher than the demand, Reliance sees the need to reach out to the consumer through more avenues. So, whoever is still interested in purchasing the JioPhone can now do so on Amazon as well. Amazon users can shop with their Pay balance and get Rs 50 cashback. It is valid if you pick one before February 28, 2018.
And of course, Amazon Prime members can avail one-day guaranteed delivery on select pin codes at no extra charges. The JioPhone is being sold by Reliance Digital and fulfilled by Amazon.
