Reliance Jio today announced that due to the festive season it will start selling its hotspot hub, JioFi for Rs. 999 which is normally priced at Rs. 1,999. This offer will last up to September 30 after which the price of the hotspot will return to normal. This offer will be valid on both offline and online stores, moreover, the company will also be selling the device on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale it is hosting. This offer is being named by the company as JioFi Festive Celebration Offer.
The users under this offer will be able to buy the JioFi M2S variant, which contains a 2,300mAh battery. Along with the hotspot hub, the users will also be getting a Jio SIM card in the package which will be activated at the time of delivery. The users will also require a data tariff plan to make use of the Wi-Fi hotspot. The users can also download the Jio4GVoice app on their smartphones to make calls and receive SMS’s while connected to the hotspot.
As per a report by CyberMedia Research shows that Reliance Jio has attained a dominant position in the market of hotspot hub devices with a market share of 91 percent. This might be due to the aggressive push that the company is making to get people buy its devices. During July the company had launched a 224GB data plan free with the JioFi router, in May the company started offering people the 100 percent cash back offer.
