iVoomi, the Chinese electronic major today launched two new budget smartphones, the iVoomi Me 3 and Me 3s with shatterproof display. The company has introduced the handsets for a price starting at 5,499 . Notably, the Chinese ODM marked its entry to the Indian smartohone market with a series of affordable iVoomi devices late April this year.
Talking about the specifications, both the iVoomi Me 3 and Me 3s offer similar features, and display resolution. The key attribute that differs these handsets its storage and camera. Both the iVoomi Me 3 and Me 3s feature a 5.2-inch HD IPS (720×1280) display with 2.5D curved glass protection on top. As mentioned, the phone boasts shatterproof display which the company says is unbreakable. The iVoomi Me 3 and Me 3s are powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. Both the devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
As far as the optics are concerned, the Me 3 sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front and back. The Me 3s, meanwhile comes with a 13-megapixel Samsung rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The front cameras offer flash and beauty mode. The primary camera sensors come with autofocus, HDR and panorama mode. In terms of storage, the Me 3 offer 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the Me 3s carries 3GB of RAM and 32GB native storage. Both handsets have expandability option of up to 128GB via microSD card.
In terms of battery capacity, both Me 3 and Me 3s pack 3000mAh batteries with Turbo Battery power saver and carries Fast Charge 2.0 support. Connectivity options on these phones include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, OTG, and Micro-USB, among others. They also come with light and proximity sensors.
The iVoomi Me 3 comes for a price of Rs. 5,499 while the Me 3s carries a cost of Rs. 6,499. The smartphones are available exclusively on Flipkart in Midnight Black, Champagne Gold, and Teal Blue colour options.
