While leaks about Apple’s tenth anniversary iPhone have poured in abundance since the past few month, new leaks have just emerged revealing yet another dummy model.
The images of the supposed iPhone 8 dummy unit were shared on Twitter by the popular leaker Onleaks. The dummy model substantiates to what have been leaked in the past on the supposed iPhone 8’s design for instance vertical dual camera, glass back etc.
The dummy model pictures reveal that the shape of the new iPhone will indeed differ compared to current iPhone models. It will have reduced bezel sizes and will sport a vertically aligned camera. The model doesn’t show a rear fingerprint sensor, hinting that the feature might be embedded underneath the display. At front, the images appear to confirm that the new iPhone will have a considerable ‘cut-out’ at the top of the display for the front facing camera sensors and speaker. Just like the current flagships, the iPhone will have a protruded rear camera module. Reports suggest that the iPhone 8 will likely feature augmented reality and biometric technology like facial recognition.

Earlier this week, an alleged iPhone 8 dummy unit with a printed image of an iOS wallpaper under a glossy screen protector surfaced online giving a fair glimpse of what the new device might look like. The images and a video of the dummy unit was shared by the notable mobile leaker Benjamin Geskin on his Twitter account. The images depict the dummy model to have minimal bezels with a 5.8-inch display ‘area’ that was suggested earlier as well. It also reveals an all-black frame instead of stainless steel frame that we saw in the previous iPhone dummy units.
Apple’s new flagship is expected to be announced this fall. Reports have suggested that the upcoming smartphone will come with wireless charging and improved waterproof support. Alongside the premium device, the Cupertino tech company is also said to unveil iPhone 7s with a 4.7-inch display, Phone 7s Plus with a 5.5-inch display.
