Here’s how you can get the iOS 11 Public Beta

If you want to use Apple’s latest mobile operating system, you will need to follow the steps that we have mentioned below. Before you go ahead and get onto the beta program, we must warn you that you do so at your own risks. Public betas could be buggy and result in reduced efficiency and functionality. We strongly recommend waiting for a week or so for reviews to come out before jumping onto the bandwagon. However, if you absolutely must experience the latest version of iOS, here’s what you do.

  • Go to Apple’s Beta Software Program website using the Apple device you would like to install iOS 11 on.
  • Sign in with your Apple ID.
  • Once signed in, sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program.
  • Then you will have to enrol your eligible device by installing a certificate.
  • Once enrolled, go to Settings > General > Software Update to begin downloading iOS 11.
  • Then you can press update to install it.

Though, we would caution you against installing the beta on your primary device, if you absolutely must go through route, please ensure you take a backup of your device. We have a handy guide on how to backup your iOS data. Do share your experience with iOS 11 beta with us in the comments.
