After a few Chinese OEMs, domestic handset maker, Intex Technologies has now partnered with Reliance Jio to offer data benefits to its consumers. The company on Friday announced 4G data benefit of up to 25GB for users who have 4G VoLTE support Intex smartphones.
Under this offer, the Intex 4G smartphone users having Jio connection will be offered a total of 5 recharges each carrying an additional 5GB 4G data. The users will get this data benefit on a recharge of Rs. 309 or above.
Commenting on the partnership, Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head – Mobiles, Intex Technologies said, “With this (Jio) partnership, Intex is catering to the needs of the never-ending data appetite of today’s tech savvy consumers especially during the festive season when data consumption will be limitless. The world’s largest end-to-end IP network of Jio and Intex’s pan-India mobile distribution network will together be a delight for consumers. Partnering with Jio will surely boost our current and potential consumer base.”
As mentioned, over the past few months a few Chinese smartphone manufacturers like Asus, Gionee, Xiaomi have also collaborated with the telecom operator to offer lucrative data benefits to their respective users. Recently, Oppo in partnership with Jio offered up to 60GB of additional 4G data to eligible Oppo smartphone users. The offer is applicable on Oppo F3, F3 Plus and F1 Plus handsets. Those consumers who purchase these following handsets and enrol in Jio Prime membership are eligible for the additional data benefits. In addition, consumers who prefer to buy an Oppo F1s, A57, A37a or A33, they can get up to 7GB additional data on every recharge of Rs. 309 or above per month for 6 months making it a total of 42GB 4G data. The offer is available to eligible subscribers till the validity of their Prime membership lapses on March 31 next year
