InFocus had been on a short hiatus from the Indian market, but in the previous few months, they have been quite active. The company in back in June had launched their first smartphone after the hiatus, the Turbo 5 which as per the company was a success for them as they were able to sell over 1,00,000 units of the smartphone. Today, the company has gone ahead and launched the successor to the phone launched in June, the Turbo 5 Plus.
The Turbo 5 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS display which comes packed in a full metal body. It features 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 6750 processor along with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. The device also features a fingerprint sensor similar to the one found in its predecessor. It will run on Google’s Android Nougat operating system.
As for the camera, the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus features a dual camera setup on the back, out of which one is a 13-megapixel sensor and the other is a 5-megapixel sensor. On the front, the device features a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies. The main highlight of the phone is its battery, which has a capacity of 4,850mAh and has a standby time of 34 days claims the company.
The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus will cost Rs. 8,999 and will be exclusively sold on Amazon.in. Jio users who purchase the device will also be getting up to 30GB of additional data.
