InFocus has launched its new smartphone InFocus Turbo 5 at an event in New Delhi today. The American OEM has introduced the phone for the Indian consumers at a price starting Rs. 6,999. The InFocus Turbo 5 smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India and will go on sale from July 4.
The highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5000mAh battery which is rated to last for about two days on a single charge. The InFocus Turbo 5 features a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D arc glass on top. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with Mali T720 MP1 GPU.
The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and comes in two storage options- 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The InFocus Turbo 5 boasts an all-metal design and the fingerprint sensor is embedded at the back panel.
As for the optics, the InFocus Turbo 5 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the phone include- 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. Sensors on board include- accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and proximity sensor.
The new InFocus Turbo 5 2GB RAM/16GB variant is priced at Rs. 6,999 while the 3GB RAM/32GB RAM storage model is priced at Rs. 7,999. The phone will be available in two colour options- Mocha Gold and Pure Gold.

He further added, “The next 12 months will be a time to watch out for InFocus as we launch an array of innovative and disruptive products in both online and offline channels. We have recently ramped up our service network across India with 326 after sales service touch points. We have also strengthened our backend processes to deliver a great after sale service experience to our fans. We plan to create 500 service centers touch points by end of this year.”
