InFocus today launched its latest budget smartphone, InFocus Vision 3. The smartphone priced at Rs 6999 will be available exclusively on the e-commerce platform, Amazon India from December 20.
A noteworthy feature on the new InFocus Vision 3 is its minimal-bezel display at that price point. The phone features a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440×720 pixel resolution) 18:9 display. The front panel has thin bezels on the sides although the top and bottom bezels are chunky. The Vision 3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is at 16GB which is further expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. On the software front, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the InFocus Vision 3 packs dual camera sensors on the rear side. The phone comes with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and 5MP secondary sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies. The camera app on the phone has a feature called ‘Dualfie’ that allows capturing image from both front and rear cameras simultaneously. The feature is likely similar to “Bothie” that was first introduced on Nokia 8.
The circular shaped fingerprint sensor is located at the back below the dual rear cameras. The hybrid dual-SIM InFocus Vision 3 supports 4G VoLTE and offers Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port, USB OTG, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack under its connectivity suite. It carries a big 4000mAh battery which is rated to deliver 22 days of standby time. The handset is available in single colour option- Black. Given its price, the new InFocus Vision 3 will compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas Infinity smartphone that features a similar 18:9 FullVision display and is priced at Rs 9999.
